If our stream of consciousness is defiled, it can be tri-rooted with greed (lobha), hatred (dvesha), and delusion (moha). It can also be dual-rooted, meaning greed and delusion, or hatred and delusion. Greed, hatred, and delusion are the three unwholesome roots. They represent attachment, aversion, and not seeing with wisdom, respectively. Delusion (moha) is an inherent aspect of unwholesome minds.
Similarly, on the wholesome side, tri-rooted wholesome minds can be classified as non-greed (alobha), non-hatred (advesha), and non-delusion (amoha), and dual-rooted minds with non-greed and non-delusion, or non-hatred and non-delusion, can also be classified.
අපගේ චිත්ත සන්තානය කෙළෙස් සහිතනම් ලෝභ, ද්වේෂ, මෝහ යන ත්‍රිහේතුක වියහැක. ද්විහේතුකද විය හැක. එනම් ලෝභ, මෝහ හෝ ද්වේෂ, මෝහ ලෙසයි. ලෝභ, ද්වේෂ, මෝහ නම් අකුසල මූල තුන වේ. එය නම් ඇලීම්, ගැටීම් සහ එය ප්‍රඥාවෙන් නොදැකීමයි. මෝහය අකුසල සිත් වල අනිවාර්‍ය දෙයකි. කුසල පාර්ශවයටද එය එසේමය. අලෝභ, අද්වේෂ, අමෝහ නම් ත්‍රිහේතුක කුසල සිත්ද, අලෝභ, අමෝහ හා අද්වේෂ අමෝහ සහිත දිවිහේතුක සිත්ද නමින් වර්ගීකරණය කල හැක.
